Nicholas A. Nayak, M.D.

Dr. Nicholas A. Nayak is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Occupational Medicine. He has extensive experience in emergency medicine with almost 20 years of service in a busy hospital emergency ward. He is now in private practice having opened Ambulatory Medical Associates and he specializes in Primary Care and Occupational Medicine. He has 10 years of experience in both of those fields along with experience in Pediatrics, Adult, and Family Practice.

Dr. Nayak has extensive experience in Clinical Research in the area of new medications. He has done over 300 clinical trials and has been instrumental in bringing about approval of several new and very beneficial medications such as Flovent, Advair, Flonase, Nasonex, Claritin, Clarinex, and Zyrtec.

Dr. Nayak’s heart for serving mankind extends into his recreational interests. He is very active in mission work which includes medical as well as humanitarian needs. He helps with building hospitals and schools and providing supplies for the people in areas of poverty. He works to promote the children’s physical and spiritual well being encouraging them to excel in their education so that they have a hope for a brighter future. He is an avid reader of both professional and leisure literature, and has traveled to many countries of the world.
